If you drive along the A2 motorway at Geleen in the evening and look carefully (screw up your eyes), then you’ll see our own New York right next to you. Yes, it’s the Chemelot Campus. In this ‘concrete jungle’ (which is actually becoming increasingly greener) researchers and entrepreneurs are being driven by apparent impossibilities to develop the materials of the future. Materials that are even better, faster, cheaper and more sustainable. Can you see that too?
